finshield.extension is a Chrome Browser Extension that blocks access to a list of financial related web sites. It simply looks for someone attempting to navigate to any of the sites, and replaces the page with content that says that the access to the site is blocked.
It is very easy to bypass finshield.extension. Simply turning off the extension will allow access.
If it is so easy to bypass, why bother?
It is for a 85+ year old family member who doesn't know what a chrome extension is.
